Karen C. Lips, RPT
Karen Lips has been a highly effective physical therapist for over 20 years. She received her degree with honors from Washington University, St. Louis in 1982 and has since obtain varied experience from the rehabilitation of neurological disorders to the treatment and prevention of orthopedic and sport injuries.
Early in her career, Karen worked with professional sports teams in both St. Louis and Washington, D.C., as well as college athletes from Georgetown and George Washington Universities. While in Washington, D.C., she provided physical therapy for the Washington Ballet, Virginia Slims Tennis Tournament, local country clubs, as well as the performing artists of the Kennedy and Capital Centers.
In 1987, Karen relocated to San Diego to enhance her life and enrich her professional experience. She has advanced her knowledge and expanded her treatment techniques to ensure her expertise as a holistic, manual therapist. In 1990 she realized her dream of opening her own Physical Therapy clinic which has grown and has now evolved into OrthoSport Health Center.
